breaks down why Chung Mong-gyu and his cronies must be removed from power if we want to save Korean football ⚽️ #정몽규 #축구협회
Everyone makes mistakes. Not everyone is mature enough to apologize and ask for forgiveness.
Always behind you, Kangin. Now it’s time to get back on the pitch and see your beautiful smile again ❤️
RE: Lee Kangin and Son Heung-Min
1. Fights HAPPEN. In a tension-packed tournament setting, more so.
2. The Sun got the leak. The KFA jumped to confirm it. This is CLEARLY desperation from Chung. Let’s not give in to what they want. Keep the focus. Klinsmann out, Chung out.
Keep an eye on Jo Jin-Ho. Currently in Fenerbahçe’s academy and started for the first team in a friendly against Zenit. Highly rated by the Turkish club right now.
⚪️🇰🇷 Ange Postecoglou: "Whatever game it is, Son has this really high level of expectation on himself to be the best he can be all the time".
"It's very hard to be like that. He wants to maintain the highest possible standards whenever he plays".
🚨 BREAKING: KNT and Busan right back Kim Moon-Hwan is set to join LAFC of the MLS.
It will be a three year deal for Moon-Hwan as he starts a new chapter in his football journey.

Please, please, please let’s not make this “Sonny stans” vs. “Kangin stans.”
There’s already so much toxicity right now, it’s irresponsible to give any sort of fuel to this narrative. Let’s wait for the players to sort it amongst themselves, which they may have already done!
Point 1 is exactly what the KFA are trying to sell and we would be foolish to believe them. Sure, the fight may have played a minor role. But that terrible performance was 99.9% Klinsmann having zero tactics and ideas.
The skirmish between Sonny & Lee Kang In explains a lot.
1.) No wonder the team seemed SO OUT OF SORTS against Jordan. We were out of sync, passive, discombobulated. There was barely any unity on the pitch and we let an aggressive Jordan team manhandle us. It was more than
This is a really bad look for the KFA and Korean society as a whole
The blood thirst for a witch hunt following a simple locker room issue is disturbing
@theKFA

According to media reports in Korea, Lee Kang-in is facing lawsuits worth nearly one million dollars due to the cancellation of his endorsements
Some Korean netizens are so disgusting and this is on their heads
🇰🇷 MUST WATCH 🇰🇷
Park Joo-Ho EXPOSES the Korean manager selection from start to finish.
At the risk of ruining his own future, he shares just how incompetent the KFA were. A national treasure, Joo-Ho MUST be protected at all costs.
Jurgen Klinsmann initially planned on flying directly to the USA from Qatar after the Asian Cup. Only after the KFA begged Klinsmann did he fly to Korea with the rest of the team. He then proceeded to stay one night, and flew out to his home in California.
This guy says he’s Asian + gets mistaken as Korean which makes him upset. A jealous Chinese (?) or SE Asian fan who can only dream of having a World Class superstar.
There’s always 1 or 2 that ruin it for everyone.

matches!
Korean football fans’ perception of Neymar and the rest of the Brazilian national team has become overwhelmingly positive after this friendly match. A big contrast to a certain 🇵🇹 superstar when he visited Korea with Juventus.
Neymar making sure the Korean child mascot had his left hand instead of his right on his chest during the national anthem has to be one of the cutest interactions I’ve seen in a while.

Fun fact: Sebastian Hoeneß, the manager of Jeong Woo-Yeong at Stuttgart, was recommended to the KFA before they hired Klinsmann. His Stuttgart side are third in the Bundesliga, just one point behind Bayern Munich.
The worst part? He was interested in managing the KNT 🥲
Just a couple of months ago, the Korean government tossed Lee Sun-Kyun to the wolves in order to create chaos and divert attention elsewhere.
We’re seeing it happen again, this time by Chung Mong-Gyu and the KFA. Seriously. How many more victims? In how many different settings?
A best all-time XI from Korea so far from the FS collective.
A fun quick debate we had amongst the group, no heavy thought into it. The bench though now that’s another debate.
Too early for Kangin maybe, or maybe his talent shines through enough already.

To answer
@NotAlexis
's question : Is there a cultural/historical rivalry between Japan and South Korea.
Yes, there is HUGE rivalry. Google "Japanese colonization of Korea".
We’ve been saying this for awhile. The 4-4-2 is outdated (like Klinsmann) and Cho Gue-Sung is NOT justifying his spot in the starting eleven. Move Sonny up top and bring on another midfielder to control the game.
HT Jordan 2-1 Korea. Korea need a third man in central midfield sooner rather than later to support Park Yong-woo and Hwang In-beom. Passing is lacking consistency and they’re being overrun defensively. Some individual errors have been frustrating, but this is a systematic flaw.
#HwangUijo

, as the 3 points earned gets them closer to climbing out of the relegation playoff spots. Mainz now sit 3 points behind 15th-placed Bochum.
3. This is yet another example at how incompetent Klinsmann is. This did not happen ONCE under Bento. It’s already happened twice under Klinsmann (remember the Sonny-Kim Min-Jae saga). Why? No one respects the manager. There’s no leadership or structure in our KNT.
Chung Mong-kyu decided not to attend a committee meeting to analyze South Korea’s

They are modern and appealing, but the designs incorporate traditional Korean styles as well.
If this happens, KNT fans HAVE to boycott future matches played in Korea.
This football federation needs a very harsh wake up call. Football is for the fans.
At this point in time, it is unclear whether KFA president Chung Mong-Gyu is willing to admit his mistake and fire Klinsmann.
He is floating numerous “ideas” to keep the German manager, including changing the entire coaching staff while keeping Klinsmann in place as head coach.
Paik Seung-Ho and Bae Jun-Ho.

Whether that happens is another question but the lack of answers regarding the leak is disturbing

Breaking : KFA announced just now, 8 members of KFA committee widely agreed that Klinsmann is not the right person to lead the South Korean international team anymore.
They will report the agreement to the chairman of KFA and then there will be a decision.

Keep on fighting 💪
Mature response full of class from Gary O'Neil. The fact that he asked

1. KFA president Chung Mong-gyu didn't resign from his place.
2. He insisted there was 'misunderstanding' about him, and it was not himself who brought Klinsmann himself, but it was done under fair process.
3. Korean fans and media still believe Chung need to resign as well.
Respectfully, this is super dangerous. He’s not even the best prospect in the K League, yet we’re hyping him up like Lamine Yamal.
Every young player doesn’t have to be Son, Kangin, or Yang Min-Hyeok. That’s completely normal. This type of over exaggerated hype helps no one.
@iMiaSanMia
Many of you are saying he's Son regen. As someone who covers Korean football, I don't say this lightly- but if there's anyone who has the potential to be the next Sonny it's him. From his physique, down to his skils- he just needs to be proven in opportunity and goals. Will
