Here’s my team for GW30. For context in GW28, I transferred Watkins for Semenyo, allowing me to upgrade my 5th mid to Salah. I jumped early on Salah before his price rose with only 0.2 itb. Potentially greedy, but I was transferring in Salah regardless of Liverpool doubling.

It was extremely team dependent. If you had a strong team in 26 and wanted to save your wc rather than ripping up your team for BGW 29. Also your risk appetite for a WC30 + 37BB vs a WC35 + 37 BB. Obviously 35 is better with more information. How much so, no one knows

Like many others this week, I have 2FTs and a great team on paper, but dead ending to 34. I imagine one of Foden/Haaland will be benched and I’ll move them to Diaz/Darwin. If both are out who knows 😆

I don’t think think judging the results of FH29 and FH34 in isolation is how to judge the strategies. Using your overall points gains through 26-38 to analyse the entire macro strategies for both is a better approach

2) knowing which cheap enablers are the best is a minefield for pre seasons with international tournaments
