Despite the populist narrative, the safer play is actually not trading Brock Nelson. It’s resigning him and mining the 100 goals. I’m sorry if that shakes your world view just because it’s original and not regurgitated.
Let’s say for arguments sake Brock will score 100 goals in the next 4 years. I wonder what % of bottom half 1st rounders even score 100 goals in their entire careers? That’s who you’re trading him for… 60% it’s a scrub. 30% a useful player. 10% its Brock Nelson. #Isles

@stefen_rosner @TheHockeyNews Interesting to note: The #Isles began the week 4 points back of WC2 and despite only earning 2 of an available 6 points, they head to the break still 4 points out. Out of town scoreboard was extremely friendly.
