@IamBranum @RichardsonISD Greatness indeed!! Minimum 45 minute lunch and am/pm recesses (yes two) for elementary grades is a must. 45 minute lunch and at least one recess (study or unstructured time) for high school. Love those ideas! ❤️

@IamBranum Absolutly, and when we don’t model or directly teach these things, we rob them of a more successful future. It’s not just the role of the teacher, it’s the family in concert with the district that makes this all possible. These truths should be self evident. 😍

@lynnsdavenport Imagine this. It costs “just” 11 milliom to give ALL elementary kids (some 18 000) an iPad each. Yet we vote on bonds for $60 000 000 in IT. Maybe number sense should be a thing again.

@katyphinney In psychology Dr Santrock would lean on the definition of psychology by reminding us that: Punishment is a consequence that decreases the probability that a behavior will occur. Building skills and holding them to account are two great strategies. 😍
