Trigger is showing the English dub of Promare in theatres in Japan, and some of the replies are saying they'd like to see English dub Blu-rays released there. I've never heard of this happening with an English dub before, it's really cool that there's so much interest in the dub!

I called my campus's help line and they called an ambulance. The EMTs reluctantly took me to the hospital only because of low blood pressure. One of the EMTs told me it can't be appendicitis because I felt better after pain meds.

My favorite Promare scene is definitely where Kakusei kicks in at the volcano. The whole sequence just hit me so hard I couldn't get it out of my head for days. It's why I gravitated to Kakusei instead of Inferno after seeing the movie. The crying rage really resonated with me

To my fellow female streamers: don't listen to these boys trying to insult you. I was told soon after I started streaming that I would never go anywhere on twitch by a male streamer who felt threatened by my viewers. 2 years later and I have partner through my own creations.

Please be extra patient with commissioners + artists with online shops that deal in physical items in the coming weeks. Suppliers they normally buy from may be temporarily closing, and buying things online they normally get in person will make things take longer in some cases!

Do not dismiss stories of sexual assault because they didn't mention it earlier. I completely blocked out my memories of many of the things my abusive ex did to me and only remembered them years later when I found the screenshots again. It happens a lot.

This but moreso when people say "I wish I had your talent" etc. I appreciate the compliment and know it comes from a good place, but many times it's very self defeating. Anyone could be as good at cosplay as I am, it just takes practice and patience (or in my case, stubbornness)
I wish people would stop calling me >talented<. I wasn’t born with artistic skills. I made costumes for 14 years to get to this point.😐 Have you seen my first costumes? It‘s not talent. It’s persistence. Everybody can get good at something if they work hard and don‘t give up!
