@bdbean1 History is only one part of the social sciences curriculum, which includes geography. The ERO report said history has crowded out geo and the other areas which aren’t being taught as much as they should be. It’s important we teach all areas of social sciences. Pays to listen.

@Tim_Batt Cool story Tim but not true. My husband and I own one family home with a massive mortgage. I’m the beneficiary of my parents trust (they have only one property in that trust) along with my siblings. I’ve also been renting for the last 18 months. I am 45 though 👍

Completely unbelievable that Labour have just said that they aren’t going to support Nicola Willis’ members bill to allow mums and dads to take their parental leave at the same time should they wish.

New data shows that the percentage of school leavers attaining NCEA Level 2 has consistently fallen under Labour Just 59% of Māori students attained Level 2 in 2022 - a 10% drop since 2017. Labour have erased years of progress achieved under the last National Government.
