Roy Rana has used his NBA and international experience to craft a beautiful offense with Kyoto Hannaryz that has been quickly influential around Japan's B.League. Constantly flowing into double gaps, often with dunker spot spacing, there is constant pressure on the rim with easy points from drives and dump offs. Rana remains one of the top Canadian coaches in the world.

Another day, another gorgeous Japanese B.League venue. This time @ALVARK_TOKYO.

Alvark Tokyo is a great team to study, particularly with how they creep in various players to set side Spain pick and rolls out of their motion as opposed to the typical high Spain actions you generally see. More high-level basketball from Japan's B.League.

Japanese basketball fans are so respectful that they loudly cheer when the opposing team is announced, and even applaud when the referees are introduced.

Conceptually this strategy makes a ton of sense to me, and there are people that have done some nice studies on this but right now it's all theoretical--we hardly have that much real world "foul up three" data to go off of. It's something that I believe would work and will be trying to get one of my teams to use it when the situation arises.
