It's outrageous that access to THC medicine is denied—even in palliative care. Why is death viewed as a more acceptable option than effective treatment? Karen’s daughter faced a heartbreaking situation when she was denied access to any cannabis-based medication. In a desperate bid for relief, she had no choice but to undergo brain surgery yesterday before even having the opportunity to try a potentially life-changing treatment. @wesstreeting This tragic outcome highlights the urgent need for reform in accessing medicinal cannabis. Patients should not have to endure such extreme measures when alternative treatments are available. 🎄 Happy Christmas from End Our Pain!🎄 As we celebrate this festive season, we want to extend our heartfelt wishes to all our followers. Your support means the world to us! We're excited to share that we were contacted by journalists to participate in a @BBCSounds documentary, set to air in January. We look forward to sharing some of our parents' inspiring stories with you. Over the past months, we have been diligently working to advance access to medicinal cannabis within the NHS for children and adults suffering from severe, treatment-resistant epilepsy. After six long years of stagnation, we are eager to hear from the Health Secretary, @wesstreeting, response to our proposal. We've also reached out to @LaylaMoran MP from the Health Select Committee and supportive MPs to rally their backing for this important cause. Moreover, we are committed to reducing the stigma and addressing the arrests of adults who hold prescriptions for medicinal cannabis to manage their health conditions. Since 2016, End Our Pain has gained support from some incredible adults who have campaigned alongside us to seek viable solutions. We are continuing our work together. As we look forward to a well-deserved Christmas break, we are also eager to continue our vital work in the new year. Thank you for standing with us in this important journey!
