@NewtonAllan6 At one time, the elders asked me why I was giving lots of pocket money to my siblings, it turns out that actually these kids performed better than us coz they had nothing to worry about while at school. It turns out that the elders now understood what I was doing for the kids

@Mutumyco @elisadognose @Kall_essy Of course and that is the major role of the private tutor in the first place, to have full concentration and understanding the kid's abilities. Financial literacy is key, I just mentioned languages as an example but of course some other basic education needs to be part

@Mutumyco @elisadognose @Kall_essy Take an example, what is the essence of straining the kid with history, science and yet their capabilities are in art or maths etc and vice versa? If the get is talented, it's best to develop the talent while escorting it with the basic education for their path like languages

@elisadognose @Kall_essy Home schooling works in many ways depending on what you want your kid to achieve. It can be private tutoring, online classes with designated colleges The major advantage of it, is that it's more of personalised education for the kid basing on the strengths & weaknesses of the kid

@JosephMwakaUG @kyeruphiona Exactly, a balanced school cycle teaches you a lot. In high standard schools, it's more of cram work, whereas low schools, it's more of understanding. In my A-level, I was studying with kids who pay for themselves school fees, it was a new challenge to understand

@kyeruphiona I'm terms of money and jobs, not really. But in terms of social life, it really does. I went to village schools in primary, High standard schools in my O-level and mediocre schools in my A-level. I attained a balanced social life and understood different dynamics of life
