I normally try to reach out in private with a longer message but in this instance DM was not an option. I am always open to ways to make my reporting more sensitive so I am open to any suggestions -- I want to give people impacted by this tragedy the opportunity to speak up if they want to share their experience but completely understand/respect if people need privacy to process.

Victims' families and police have since said that the injured babies are not all the same race, but are all boys. I am continuing to report on this case as it develops.
