@PerkinsLodge That's not a great return, no wonder farming is in trouble when you make more money sitting on your arse with money in the bank. I'm starting to wonder if our farmer-landlord might sell up and leave us out in the cold. No money in farming!

There's a chance if tariffs are placed on imports - they'd have to be substantial as 16% on Chinese honey hasn't stemmed the flow OR a serious devaluation on the £. It might save British farming. Chance of the government reversing the IHT <10%. Worth a shot but the some of the people heading the charge are doing a poor job. More of Tom Bradshaw and Heady's farm and less of... I'd prefer not to say
