As a Clincial Nurse who supports many children with disability & scoliosis in the community, it is genuinely heartbreaking & disturbing to watch this case unfold in public and no one in the Health ministry take accountability or action
It's a strange world we live in where the curvature on the spine of 8 year old Harvey Sherratt is allowed to deteriorate to the point that he is in danger of dying yet €336, 000 can be spent on a bicycle shed for TDs.

In order to make real changes like this our Co Board need to be engaging with our local Autistic & Neurodivergent community and families of children with complex needs to really hear what accessibility means for them 🙌🏻
Hopefully we will see something similar in Páirc Tailteann when it’s redeveloped. #GAA #MeathGAA #Inclusion

Worth noting ahead of the #GE24 that the current government are currently not engaging with unions & effectively voting against pay parity for Section 39 workers at a time when staffing & recruitment within disability services is beyond a crisis
