WADA have appealed. I don't know the basis for their appeal, they haven't stated one. They maintain that I should have a 2 year ban & that my results should be taken away. It is both deeply disappointing yet at the same time remarkably unsurprising. 1/5.

Wow! To put this in to perspective, think about @MarkCavendish incredible 33 TDF stage wins. Then think that the Giro Rosa has 11 fewer stages! . One could say it's equivalent to 69.3 TDF stage wins😉. A pleasure to watch 2 greats of the sport battle to surpass Merckx's record 😜.

I do find it quite irritating (and slightly arrogant?)when people(men)jump on my wheel or even try to pace me (!!!)as I ride past. Perhaps it's worth it though because the spectacular explosion that occurs shortly after and subsequent grovel to the top is really quite hilarious.

I was fully invested in 4 hours of so of not being able to see more than 20m up the road with thick fog on the menu today (and yes, 95% of the ride was like that 😅) but these glorious moments of inversion more than made up for it! Pretty magical in the right spots today!

#CyclingRoad #Tokyo2020 What we're seeing here is partly the result of only having 67 riders 🤷♀️So few teams with riders to burn, also the result of no radios and lack of blackboard information. Riders have no idea of gaps or what's going on!.

WOW! The climb up to Chew Reservoir is absolutely nuts! I can't believe I didn't know how epic it was until today. Spent the rest of my ride wondering why @100Climbs hadn't claimed it as one of the best in the UK. Turns out he had 😹 So much joy and exploration in my back yard!

Yesterday's news of Olivia Podmore's passing is truly devastating. I want to share to raise awareness of the struggles so many face. A reminder to check in, to ask how it's going, and most of all to be kind. My heart goes out to those closest to her. A very sad day for cycling 🖤.
