@b280c_2 We happily review Tesla cars and think they’re great, we were just reacting to a lot of stick we’ve started to get about covering them. So we put a survey up on our website to find out how widespread it was amongst our audience.

@thealexbear Agreed, it’s a very complex area and we actually started the survey before the inauguration as a result of negative comments we were getting about Tesla.

@hondacz100 We’re not trying to show any political sway, we simply get a lot of stick whenever we review a Tesla and that’s been increasing. We think the cars are great but wanted to get a feel for how widespread the sentiment was amongst our audience.

@b280c_2 We know lots of talented and lovely people who work for Tesla. But guess the point is that the brand has been built so strongly around Musk that it’s bound to have a polarising impact. I doubt if most people know who the boss of BMW or VW is.
