Amazing story, alas the link no longer works but do watch -- and listen to! -- the embedded video. The ray pattern around the impact site very much resembles, in miniature, the appearance of some major lunar craters, as best seen around Full Moon when rays are bright.

That bright steady reddish spot of light *right* next to tonight's Full Moon? That is the planet Mars, itself at opposition this week & at its closest & brightest since its last opposition in late 2022. Easily seen with the unaided eye even in the bright lunar glare.
