It's great both sides agreed to come to the table and work toward a resolution. This is good news for workers, businesses, and our economy. When workers organize, they win higher pay, better pay, and safer workplaces.
Scoop: Starbucks and the union Workers United have agreed to bring in a mediator for contract negotiations, an effort to revive stalled talks and reach a landmark deal @SBWorkersUnited.

See here: @RepMcCormick asking hungry children, some as young as 4, to work if they wish to be fed.

Over the past 10 years, OFCCP has obtained over $260m for over 250,900 workers who were discriminated against by federal contractors. In addition to being unjust, Trump’s actions will cost workers money, and employers will not be held accountable for violating workers’ rights.
Trump has revoked an executive order — signed in 1965 by LBJ — that required federal contractors to refrain from employment discrimination and take affirmative action to ensure equal opportunity "based on race, color, religion, and national origin."
