It is with profound sadness and a very heavy heart that I let everyone know Harpo was helped Over The Rainbow Bridge Thrusday at 1:30 pm and our journey of 14 yrs together has ended.
His cancer had weakened him so much he could no longer stand up and it was time to say goodbye.

I lost Quincy one of my feral cats this morning. It appears he was hit by a car sometime during the night. He's buried in my yard to RIP. I really liked Quincy a lot. 💔

It is with a very heavy heart I announce our Mazie at 18 yrs went OTRB.
She spent 12 yrs in a rescue before we adopted her.
She had the best 6 years she could of ever had with us.
She had the most beautiful purr you have ever heard.

Update on Mobitz's echocardiogram today.
His cardiologist said he has mild dilated cardiomyopathy with no left atrial enlargement and she didn't see any changes from his last echocardiogram.
We will repeat it in a year.
Absolutely great news!!
Definitely worth the trip.

The animals are telling me by their behavior something big is going happen.
I know my critters and their behaviors and this isn't normal. They sense something and are eating & storing up as much food as they can. The chipmunks are out of hybernation Way out of normal.

Really good news from Harpo's echocardiogram.
Harpo doesn't have Hypertrophic CardioMyopathy (HCM) as was thought with his BNP at 854 normal under 100.
The cardiologist said his case we can't use it as a marker. His heart was normal for his age on echo.
Well worth the money!

The wound where the branch that impaled into my lower leg required 2 internal and 7 external stitches to close the wound. I'll have a scare but could have been much worse! Now Antibiotics!!

3 hours from now will be the last chemotherapy treatment of 6 for Harpo.
It's been a long 6 months he has done very well. He only lost about 1 pound & shows no signs of his 2nd bout with cancer.
Today we know if it's still in remission & what his prognosis will be. Amen.

Harpo Update
Some of you may know Harpo had a lump I discovered.
The lump pathology report revealed Hemangiosarcoma unfortunately. Very rare in cats but aggressive but his lungs are clear & no signs of metastasis.
He starts chemotherapy tomorrow once a month for 6 months.

Today Harpo & I are at his oncologists to see how he's doing 6 months post chemotherapy for Hemangiosarcoma diagnosied about a year ago.
He's already survived Terminal Lymphoma 6 years ago after Chemotherapy to treat that.
We're hoping its all good news.

I got a reply to my text about Everett. He lives about 10 houses up the street and his Mom was happy to know where he likes to go. She said he is a very outgoing car with a huge personality!!

We've managed to keep his weight 10.1-10.3 lbs last 2 months giving him 5-7 meals a day.
His 3 blood tests this month didn't show any real issues.
Love can overcome anything.
