Wrong time to rename Yonge-Dundas Sq. - The name "#SankofaSquare" has come out of the blue. The city promised extensive public consultation for choosing a new name. Where was it? Since the beginning , the process has been cloaked in secrecy.

Thank you @KevinVuongMP we need more political leaders to not only speak out, but take ACTION.
People expect leaders to lead. They want action when laws are broken. Instead of standing up to the protestors, @MayorOliviaChow left it up to two seniors to do it & pretended all is well. That's not #leadership. We must be governed by #ruleoflaw—not mob rule.

Yesterday, @jesserubinoff asked why I care about the surge of hate & disinformation targeting Jews. Unfortunately, I know about the weaponization of false allegations & denial of justice. I refuse to stand by while 🇨🇦’s Jewish community goes through what my family & I endured.

Masks are no longer required in Melbourne. It has been that way for quite a few weeks. But many of my patients still ask me politely if I’d like them to wear a mask. They still do carry their masks. I am quite touched by that simple gesture of respect of checking in.

How is the media not constantly asking WHY Ontario hasn’t yet vaccinated every single staff and resident in our LTC homes? Instead we get trips to Pearson and stories about Trudeau and unending discussions about kids’ mental health as if the govt actually cared about our kids.
