ENS Maxis Community. We're writing to you today with a mix of feelings. Ever since its inception, our team has poured our hearts into creating a welcoming space within the ENS world. Our goal was simple: to build a community where everyone, regardless of ENS sub- community or ENS domain holdings, could come together and enjoy ENS. However, our journey has not been without its challenges. Despite our best efforts, we've faced numerous false accusations and doubts, which have taken a toll on our ability to focus on community-building. After much thought, we've decided it's time to step back and let the community take control of ENS Maxis NFT. We're in the process of reaching out to our legal team to abandon the trademarks associated with the project, signaling our intent to hand over the reins to you, the community. While we'll still be available to offer guidance during this transition period, we won't be actively involved in the day-to-day operations of ENS Maxis NFT. To facilitate this transition, we'll be seeking a trustworthy individual or entity to manage the project's social media presence. We may hire a social media company on a 1 or 2-year contract to manage the Twitter account, and we're prepared to cover the costs from our own pocket. We will select a company for you, and you'll have complete transparency regarding their identity. If you have a specific social media company in mind, please inform us, and we'll reach out to them. We prefer entrusting a social media company with handling engagement rather than an individual to ensure the project's social presence maintains longevity. Our aim is to ensure that the project's online presence continues to thrive under capable management. Now, the question arises: who are the people behind ENS Maxis NFT? It's a question deliberately left unanswered. From the outset, our intention was for this to be a community-driven project, with us simply overseeing its management. Here's the situation: prior to the project's launch, we disclosed our identities to key figures in the ENS ecosystem. This transparency is precisely why the project gained trust amongst the ENS community in such a short amount of time. Trust me, if it weren't for that, ENS Maxis NFT would have never reached the milestones that it did. That's food for thought. They've chosen not to reveal our identities. Why? Because there's been no wrongdoing on our part. They understand the dedication and resources we've invested in this project, as well as our significant contributions to the broader ENS community. They've refrained from disclosing our identities because they recognize our commitment to honesty and integrity. In closing, we want to express our heartfelt gratitude to each and every one of you for being part of the ENS Maxis NFT community. Though our roles may change, we're excited to see how the community will continue to thrive and grow in the future. With warm regards and sincere thanks, ENS Maxis 🧡💙

@shabbat_eth That's fair, and we acknowledge our inactivity. We could have handled being inactive much better, and we take responsibility for that. However, the persistent claims of us scamming hold no merit. Considering that everything is on the blockchain and there hasn't been a single piece of evidence to support these allegations, it's all baseless nonsense. People are upset about the dried-up liquidity of the NFT market, but there's only so much a project with free minting and no royalties can do. Despite not having start up funds and using our personal resources, we've gone above and beyond. I would say better than other free mint and no royalties projects. Put yourself in our shoes: we're doing this for free, donate over $50,000 to the ENS community, even rectifying mistakes made by a poorly managed Discord, which we repeatedly expressed we wanted no part of. Yet, we're constantly accused of scamming. Would you continue investing in such a situation? If it were enjoyable and harmonious, sure, we'd be more active, but this has become far from enjoyable. It's uncomfortable. For the record, we are 100% doxed to well-know figures in majority parts of the ENS community. If we were scammers, our personal information would have been exposed long ago. Our integrity and contributions to the ENS community speak for themselves, negating any need for such actions. Our intention was simply to create a space for everyone to come together and share their love for the ENS protocol. However, this was not the case for many.

For the record, @financeguy74, we have no affiliation with any individual or entity named Bill Sparta. We are completely unfamiliar with this individual. It's imperative to exercise caution and refrain from falsely accusing innocent individuals; such behavior is unjust and unfair. We cannot idly stand by while innocent people are targeted and their personal information is exposed publicly. This is simply unacceptable. Furthermore, your actions are irrational and unnecessary because no crimes were committed. Engaging in this witch hunt reveals your true character, as it seems you enjoy putting people on a chopping block without just cause. If you seek thorough investigation, we recommend contacting reputable blockchain investigators like Coffeezilla and ZachXbt. They will undoubtedly confirm that no crimes or malicious actions occurred, internally or externally. It's crucial to differentiate between dissatisfaction with the direction of the NFT market, which impacted the project's performance, and baseless accusations of scamming.

@shabbat_eth, here it is, Part 8. You can scroll up to see the rest. Once again, what we proposed was a hypothetical question meant to receive feedback to take to our legal team to explore its feasibility. Unfortunately, some individuals misconstrued this and claimed that it's what ENS Maxis intended to do. This misunderstanding underscores the importance of managing expectations realistically. Despite our repeated reminders, some still take everything at face value. For instance, the notion that the ENS Maxis Team has $10,000,000 worth of ENS Tokens to distribute to the ENS Maxis community for voting in the DAO is far from accurate. Our intention was merely to solicit ideas and foster community brainstorming during a time when there was a desire for community input in the ENS DAO. Regrettably, this initiative was taken out of context, leading to unforeseen complications. Our sole aim was to contribute positively to the community without any malicious intent. We apologize if we did not effectively communicate that the proposal was hypothetical, and some interpreted it as factual. LINK BELOW ⬇️

Your assertion makes absolutely no sense, given that it was limited to one mint per wallet, and it took approximately 24 hours for the collection to mint out. For your argument to hold water, we would have had to create 10,000 individual wallets, incurring significant expenses in gas fees for transferring ETH to each wallet, as well as fees for every buy or sell transaction, only to pay more gas fees to transfer the funds back to our own pockets. This only underscores our point. If we were rug pullers or even slow rug pullers, we would undeniably be the most dumbest ones imaginable. Why even bother with the hassle, especially when you yourself sought to purchase pieces from our treasury and we declined your offer. Link to the post that proves it was 1 mint per wallet. ⬇️

@Metabloke Yuga Labs address. As we said, this is a very common practice for NFT project mailing addresses. @ens_domains_eth

We remain steadfast in our belief in the project. Just because we've been inactive on X platform doesn't indicate surrender. Therefore, in our message above, we stated you still will be able to claim something in the future. Lastly, we anticipated the community would take initiative. We aimed to create space for members to step up rather than solely relying on the team. The team constitutes just one component of this project.

@lukewrightmain Yes, you did. However, we wanted to remain on ETH. Thank you for the suggestion.

As an internal team, we collectively hold ENS Tokens because we believe in their potential. Initially, we planned to integrate a voting mechanism. However, due to SEC regulations, we couldn't distribute ENS Tokens to the community and then retract them since they belong to us. Basically, it goes back to how could we get our initial investment back? We considered two options: setting up an ENS Maxis DAO or having the ENS Maxi community contribute Tokens with us matching them one for one. However, both options posed legal uncertainties, which two attorneys thoroughly investigated. Despite our openness to suggestions, we engaged top law firms to navigate these complexities. One option explored was creating Tokens, airdropping them to holders, generating sufficient funds by selling them for ETH, and then using those funds to purchase ENS Tokens through our ENS Maxis DAO. However, we dismissed this idea due to concerns about it possibly be considered market manipulation. Thus, we abandoned this approach.
