Hello everyone, as at 1530 today, we have trained 15,300 children in CPR, numbers still coming in but already we have exceeded our 15,000 target for this year, brilliant collaborative effort, well done! MBC
Did you know when you call 999 the first knock at the door may be a CFR?
CFRs often arrive ahead of the Ambulance and provide initial care & assessment which can include Basic Life Support, Defibrillation, O2 therapy, Nebulisation, Haemorrhage Control amongst other treatment. JH
Six students arrived this morning to take the final assessments on the CFR Course in Nottinghamshire. As the day went on the number of students got smaller, interestingly by the end of the day we had no students left, But we did have Six newly qualified CFR's. RB
This is Anthony's 10th ROSC certificate since he started as a Community First Responder. This is the difference CFRs make in the community. Thanks to all CFRs you can make the difference.

We are so incredibly proud of all our CFRs who volunteer and not only do responding in their own time but attend team meetings, training and raise funds for their localities. One persons perspective is thankfully not represented by the majority from the support we’ve seen today.

GOOD NEWS
Hello All
Yesterday at the CFR conference we had an incident where one of our CFR Volunteers JOHN DEHNEL
became quite unwell and was transported to hospital.
I have spoken to John this morning and I’m pleased to say he is OK and recovering at home. MBC
They shall not grow old, as we that are left grow old. Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn. At the going down of the sun and in the morning we will remember them.

How easy is it to find your 🏠 in the dark?
In an emergency Community First Responders may be the first help to arrive & often in an unmarked 🚘
Sometimes every second counts, make sure your 🏠 number is clearly visible & if possible turn on outside lights.
