Today my daughter and her almost 3 month old son were pursued and hit by a woman in a truck while she was taking my grandson in his stroller for a walk. Both are in the hospital. She has bruising on her arms. No word on my grandson. 😡😠😡🤬.

I remember my old Navy days driving from Port Arthur Texas to my bases in Virginia. how I tried to plan my trip to where it was daylight when I passed through Mississippi, Alabama and Georgia. This was the 80s and 90s. And that's a shame.😑.

UPDATE.Talked to my daughter yesterday, she sore but ok. Grandson is crying more than usual, probably the trauma of it all, yet they are alive. Son in law has taken off work to stay home. I'm presently still in Texas with my wife. Taking it one day at a time.

Well. in my absence today I collapsed at my desk and went to the ER for the better part of the day. No heart attack or stroke but intense pain on my left side chest and back, not as bad now. Hurts to breathe. Will see the doc hopefully Monday. Cheers.

In case you are wondering, the route is from Port Arthur Texas I-10 E to Mobile Alabama I-65 North to Atlanta GA I-85 through So. Carolina and N. Carolina culminating to US 58 in Virginia all the way to Va Beach. Never take state roads in the big 3 at night.
