@Iamdonethankz It's all hindsight my friend. Sony couldnt possibly know. They have their marketing formula and they stick by it. To them, not having the lead actress promoting the movie is a movie killer so they had to ensure she did.

@Iamdonethankz It doesnt matter to studios. They spend millions on marketing. If they cant use the lead actress to promote the movie, they see it as a failure.

@Iamdonethankz With hindsight you know her promotion didnt do anything good. But for a studio, the lead not promoting the movie is a death kiss. Baldoni cant refuse to promote his own movie since his contract was signed. Blake wasnt. I suspect that's how she leveraged Sony.

@Iamdonethankz Did she look uncomfortable or was she more pissed that the ideas she was pitching to Baldoni (while filming) werent received well? You can hear her in the video saying they should talk, and Baldoni telling her it's slow mo so it makes no sense to talk.

@Iamdonethankz I know money is important. But Sony is much bigger than any billionaire you care to name. If she strong armed Sony into supporting her, with the threat of her (the lead) not promoting the movie so it would flop they can truely put the pressure on him to give her what she wants.

@Iamdonethankz I'm not heavy on celebrityjust the law side of it. If Baldoni's attorney faked proof entered in the lawsuit. He stands to lose everything. I would say it's highly unlikely that he would tamper with evidence. If you want to take blake side you need to find more receipt from her.

@Iamdonethankz we have no evidence Baldoni' engineered that virality. She was really tone deaf at key points and people turned on her. Then she made her claim of SH, and people came rushing to her side condemning Baldoni. Then Baldoni released receipts that made her story suspicious.

@Iamdonethankz I understand your POV. But losing defamation lawsuits (even if its because of journalistic protections) is a bad look for any celebrities. Not to mention they often have to reimburse the defendant legal fees. Not to mention the time wasted. It's rarely worth it for celebrities

@Iamdonethankz The public mind was firmly on her side after the NYT article made her claims known. People were calling for Baldoni to be cancelled. At that point why would she hide more evidence ? The only reason people are turning on her is because Baldoni shows receipt that provers her wrong

@Iamdonethankz Yeah and it made headlines for weeks. And the story still isnt over, she's being countersued. Celebrities can win defamation cases, it's just rare. Cardi won against one person, who must have crossed the line, not against content creators talking shit about her in general.

@Iamdonethankz She released her complaint first. We have all of her official claims. Unless you think she was hiding more ? It makes no sense for her to hide things at this point. Baldoni's receipts are entered in evidence. If they're fake he risks prison for tampering. They're real receipts.

@Iamdonethankz She could try to sue, but most would be safe because they can claim freedom of press. Also, I wouldnt hold my breath for her to have much more receipts than she already has. It makes no sense for her to not give everything she had to the judge the first time around.
