Our P7 pupils attended the base for their transition visits this week. They had great fun doing yoga, gardening, French, English, Maths, H.E., Science and History. We look forward to you starting in August!
S3 pupil Bob Munro, one of our CSB Ambassadors, made this video to teach pupils and staff some Makaton sign language. He is keen to make sure that all pupils are included at Duncanrig. Well done Bob!!

We had a very successful MacMillan Coffee Morning in the CSB. The pupils showed great hospitality skills by baking cakes and cookies and serving all of our lovely parents and carers! Well done! £86 was raised

S1 science made foaming pumpkins: Mixing
bicarbonate of soda (an alkaline substance) and vinegar (an acid) creates water ( which is neutral) and lots of carbon dioxide gas... hence the bubbly foam! 🎃. We added some food colouring so the foam looked like blood 🤫🕸️🕷️
Finlay S5 was at the Scottish Disabilty Sports event for swimming and achieved 2 Gold medals in 100m breaststroke and 100m back stroke as well as a silver in 100m fly and a bronze in 100m freestyle! Well done Finlay!! You're a star 🌟!

On Friday pupils took part in a walk for Ukraine. Pupils were asked to do 2 laps of the school but more if they could. Finlay Rodriguez (S3) and Eithan Adamson (S2) did the CSB proud by completing 7 laps and 16 laps. Well done boys!!

The pupils in Room 1 had a very enjoyable visit to Pollock Country House and Park today. They had a guided tour of the luxurious upper floors as well as the servant's quarters. All the pupils were extremely well mannered and a credit to Duncanrig Secondary School.❤️💕🏠
