@embasic Point being 3 years is plenty of time for awesome EM docs - and I think you'd shunt some great ones away from EM if requiring 4 years versus 3 + (optional) fellowship.

@ThommyTox First gotta answer 'your why' Why do you want to invest? To not eat cat food in retirement is one of mine (Bill Bernstein uses that analogy a lot). Psychology of money can help work through that with great examples. Low cost indexing - simple, but not easy to stay the course

@paulg Narrow minded in that here's how it would alter my *current job* but generally failing to consider how the jobs you interact with would be affected by AI. Me, "ooo hopefully AI helps me save time on a couple mundane tasks - overlooking that it's a tool to overcome writers block"

@joeymattingly I can snap my fingers and search Epic's CareEverywhere to see detailed records across the country - a prescription placed into discrete fields would have fewer and far less complex information to convey to a transferring pharmacy... But here we are
