@SainAsylum More importantly can the Grizzlies be a 40-20 team. No team has won a title without hitting 40 wins before 20 losses, in normal season parameters. Griz need to win 4 more before getting 3 more losses.

@chriman_ And that’s not to say that Edey isn’t running hard, but his team doesn’t give him the ball in good spots. So you’re getting Edeys bad defensive metrics, and not using his bonus on the offensive side, absolutely a waste right now.

Just maddening that this Grizzlies team makes the same mistakes over and over and over and over and over. And no one is ever held accountable. Make it make sense.

@Horton_hears_U @ohokvontae True, but the Griz give up almost 20th on average to opposing SF, just a common theme all year.

@ohokvontae I think the issue is current ownership. Pera made one major move, and it backfired royally. Since Parsons he has yet to allow his team to make major moves to improve the team.

@ohokvontae I mean it’s year 7, at some point you have to go for it. But the lack of moves at the deadline opened my eyes that the Grizzlies organization has no interest in winning a title. They just want to be good enough for fans to go to games, and buy merchandise.

@ohokvontae Also if we are being real, the Thunder are the worse they’re going to be right now, same with the Spurs and the Rockets. The Lakers have shown they’re are going to try every year, and Jokic is still the best. If not now, then when for the Griz?

@ohokvontae Riding the young guys to me is a deceleration that this team isn’t good enough. There is a reason why everyone, legit every podcast/broadcast/content creator all said the Griz were one piece away. Griz went backwards again, as Zack for a 4th time has bet on youth🤦‍♂️

@chipwilliamsjr Vince has to start, Wells has been a solid rookie, but in no way is he ready.

@ARusher8 @chriman_ Before the Parsons move though, they added Jeff Green from Boston. It didn’t work, but only cost one pick and I applaud them for trying.

@ARusher8 @chriman_ It feels very much like when the Kings were great in the early 200s but the Lakers existed. This current team has no way to grow now, beyond internal growth, while also hoping the Thunder have no more growth.
