Lots of interesting points and I agree with most of them other than: - there is often value in repeating previous research to see if same conclusions found - I think peer reviewed should be reimbursed. This could be tokens that could be exchanged for reviews of their articles

Our caveat is ARRS costs a lot of money and it’s unclear from this research whether the scheme offers value for money or would be better spent in other areas of primary care E.g. on GPs (⬅️my comment as evidence ⬆️GP per patient associated with better satisfaction/outcomes)

The Additional Roles Reimbursement Scheme (ARRS) was associated with a small improvement in patient satisfaction and perceptions of access, according to our study just published in @BJGPjournal. However, the scheme didn't improve outcomes in the QOF.
