New mom log, day 13: Stop tracking everything on newborn app & let go of societal pressures re: feeding. My supply tanked due to CS & PP preeclampsia. I decided to formula supp & pump to help kiddo & myself. So liberating! Feel like a new woman.

Talk to me about toddlers biting. My kid gets bit every other day at daycare and it’s starting to become concerning. I know it’s developmentally normal but I can’t handle how aggressive some of these bites are especially to his face. ☹️

@Gabby_Brauner27 I had a lidocaine gel (hurricane gel) and I didn’t even feel it. I was dreading the worst and it ended up being literally painless. I think the key was also ibuprofen prior and my nurse midwife leaving the gel on for a good amount of time before she actually did anything.

@sarahclazarus Mine didn’t hurt going in because my practitioner used numbing gel and a paracervical block. 10/10 recommend
