BTW Uriah is proof that you can do everything right and things still don't go well for you in this life.

The point is God is always deserving of praise. He has done (and he's doing) more for you than you can acknowledge. This will always outweigh your losses. P.s: He also knows how to use our losses ultimately for good. Believers understand this.
