Yesterday, during my maiden speech before Parliament, I challenged ministers and fellow colleagues to use health services from the public sector.
I have no doubt that if they take me up on this challenge, the quality of healthcare in South Africa will significantly improve! 🏥

My call to every leader is to break the culture that perpetuates disparity in our healthcare system, where the very same select few, disconnected from the realities of public healthcare, are entrusted with its management. It hasn't worked and never will!

This afternoon, we are debating Vote 1: The Presidency, deliberating on the critical work the Executive must undertake in the term ahead.
Socks need to be pulled up and sleeves rolled up to ensure that the Gov. works to deliver for every South African!
