@MountainRoche @richroll @Meg_Runs_Happy I love how wholesome and uplifting this is! I saw the podcast drop but haven't had time to listen yet. Eagerly crushing my tasks today so I can get to it

Eddie Hall pulls over 9000 N in the IMTP 🤯. At @sportscienceed we always joked "he's pulling over 9000!!" when athletes had big pulls on the IMTP. I've never actually seen someone do it...
Former World's Strongest Man, Eddie Hall, paid a visit to campus 💪 Scientists ran a series of strength tests and MRI scans and the findings show that Eddie’s lower-body muscle mass was almost twice (+96%) that of untrained men. Read more ➡️

@StrengthDebates honestly, long-form convos around your twitter posts and polls would be amazing. It could be just you, or you and an interesting guest. Pick 3-5 banger tweets from the past 2 weeks as starting points and let it rip.

Fellow sport scientists: anyone having loads of connectivity and syncing problems with the new @catapultsports Vector Core X7 line? It feels half-baked and I'm not sure how it made it to release, but maybe it's just us? Let me know bc customer support is not much help...

@XcCris 3. I think sprinkling paces ranging from M pace to 10k pace keeps enjoyment and training satisfaction high without being too fatiguing. Ex: AM session w/3x4 min at 10k pace, coupled with a PM session of 2x10 at M pace, is not too fatiguing & stims the NM and CV systems.

@JoeAratari 100% agree with the points, but some kids do learn this in school. I teach my college and grad students the "soft skills" of strength coaching and try to model it too. But I can tell you that it's definitely not in the textbooks they give us to teach out of...

@zonkerh @stevemagness I love Parker's writing and agree that Racing the Rain captures the adolescent runner's zeitgeist almost perfectly. Even the title is somehow poetic, nostalgic, and epic all at once.
