The Afghan people and Organized For Afghanistan condemn in the strongest of terms the recent attack in Germany by an Afghan migrant and stand with the German people. Such individuals do not represent the ordinary peaceful Afghan people who proudly live everyday in Germany as Afghan German citizens. The country of Germany and the German people have long been friends of Afghanistan and Afghans for over 100 years sharing a common interest in human rights, peace, and democracy.

A necessary move by @realDonaldTrump to bring an end to this war, and pave the way toward a modern day detenté with Russia. Conflict, endless wars, and expensive military ventures do not ensure an economically strong America.

@elonmusk Elon, as a Physician, can we look into the corrupt healthcare industry? Particularly with large hospital groups and insurance companies that operate largely as scams? Can we re-introduce healthcare back to the American people as led by Physicians?

In 2020, the Taliban were given a golden opportunity by President Trump to be involved in an inclusive power sharing agreement in Afghanistan, and one that would have integrated them into the world. Instead, they chose the path of arrogance and violence as they seized power on August 15, 2021. In the aftermath, they chose to shut down girl’s schools, close the door toward inclusive governance, maintain ties with jihadist groups, and leverage American hostages for financial gain. The end result is a cash starved pariah state, heavily sanctioned, and not integrated with the international community. By contrast, in Syria, Jolani captured all the positive momentum from his takeover, shed his prior questionable ties, respected the rights of Syrians, and agreed to inclusive governance. Today, Syria is in a far better situation, being integrated into the international community, with recognition by the Western and Islamic world.

Despite the unusual question that was asked, the response @realDonaldTrump offered is more telling of his policy toward Afghanistan. Likely further disengagement after cutting off USAID (the very lifeline that sustains the Taliban regime). Based on this, it is also unlikely that certain circles and groups vying for U.S. money and support with tainted pasts will be warmly welcomed and given financial support. I know there has been recent optimism by some hoping to be invited to DC with financial aid, but that era and chapter is likely closed.
REPORTER: "What's your future plan for Afghan people?" TRUMP: "It's a beautiful voice & a beautiful accent. The only problem is, I can't understand a word you're saying." "Good luck. Live in peace."

If you were ever curious about why @DOGE wants to stop USAID - think about this. From 2001-2021, the U.S. spent $2.3 trillion on Afghanistan. And yet in 2025, 98% of the population is starving, the country is facing the largest humanitarian crisis, and the country remains bottom 4 in the world. What happened to all that money? Corruption, money laundering by NGOs, and going into the hands of warlords and corrupt figures who allocated the money for villas in Dubai. @elonmusk
