@traumamom4 one day a time. I was in the trauma bay taking call conducting a primary survey on the same aged patient s/p fall from roof - same mechanism my father died of 1 week prior - he was 63. #changedforever

11 days ago my husband had a stroke. Tonight, I’m on trauma call. I went to the ED to see a consult, walked past CT scanner to witness a “stroke alert”. Let me tell you…my heart skipped a beat. My husband is doing well, but our lives are forever changed. #strokerecovery
