The four Gospels tell the same story, but there are differencesโeven contradictions.

I will continue to say this, as an ex-Pentecostal minister, charismaticism in any modernistic flavouring or reinterpretation, is not, I repeat not, a valid expression of the Anglican faith. If you want to be Irenic as a Pentecostal, thatโs fine, you just are not Anglican.
I see everybody talking about how the new ACNA archbishop is pro-WO (yawn) and nobody taking about the fact that whatever this is can be found on his parishโs website

The 1662 IE Book of Common Prayer team just released a condensed morning and evening prayer for family devotion, and I did it with Aubrey (2 1/2) tonight.
She repeated almost the whole thing with me, doing the responsive reading, Lordโs Prayer, and all.

Sola Scriptura is not Solo Scriptura. We are not biblicists. The Scrioture is not the only source of doctrine, it is the only infallible source. From which all creeds and confessions must adhere. These things protect us from self-interpretation and yes, heresy.

I am constantly blown away by the strict adherence the first tractions took to the Articles and the fact that they were moving towards a more Lutheran compatibility vs. Romanism. They desired to not abandon the articles of religion, but rather ground it deeper in patristics.
