This year marks the 25th anniversary of one of our clubs most famous days. On a cold December day in 1998 Doonbeg reached the summit of Munster Club football defeating Moyle Rovers of Tipperary on a Scoreline of 0-07 to 0-04. ⚫️⚪️🏐

Senan Downes receives the Jack Daly trophy in 1969 after defeating Shannon Gaels in the final. Having won the title in 1967 and 1968, this was to become Doonbegs first ‘three-in-row’. Doonbeg also won the Cusack Cup that year. A wonderful achievement for our club. ⬛️⬜️

In 1996 Doonbeg captured the Minor A title to go along with our Senior Championship win of the same year. Doonbeg defeated Kilmihil to win the title. Many of this minor panel would go on to have excellent careers in the black and white. ⚫️⚪️🏐
