I hate to bring up Dunkey, but he mentioned in an older video about how CE’s original graphics let the background be in the background and the enemies be in the foreground. While in CEA everything kind of mushes together with no cohesion

He’s based on Yasuke (or he outright is Yasuke), an African slave who fled to Japan and became a Samurai. We don’t know much about him at all, which kinda makes him perfect for an Assassin’s Creed game since not well known historical figures thrive in a creative environment.

No, people from different regions have different hair textures that allows for different hairstyles. You don’t see a white person with cornrows often because the style actively damages the scalp, while African hair is textured and grows differently that allows for it.
