This play was a game changer! Sometimes points get lost with the fast pace of play but it changed the odds dramatically in favor of the Supernovas to win set 1 on the road. Nati has a history of making these plays but it required all of them in this play.

Truth. Fighting for 1 rebound. Flying in the air to save 1 ball from going out of bounds. Running a perfect inbounds play to set up a game-winning shot. The fight for the Off rebound by Mason that led to the put back seems trivial but at this level the margins are razor thin.
Creighton pulled out a big win at Villanova on Saturday. In my postgame takeaways, I touched on Steven Ashworth's heroics, gearing up to face teams a second time and the unsung contributions from Jasen green and Mason Miller. #GoJays

We are watching one of Greg McDermott's best coaching jobs ever. Creighton's gone from 9-6 and on the outside looking in for the NCAA Tournament to winning 7 in a row and being in a safe spot for a bid + in the mix for the Big East regular season title. Jays should be ranked.

In 2014 Cook Cook's two assistant coaches were Dani Busboom and Dan Meske. Kelly Hunter was on the team. Lindsay Peterson was and still is their Director of Operations. 11 years later it makes today look pretty surreal for all of them. @jcook2 @danib18 @danmeske @KellyHunter03
