To me, it was no surprise at all. I've been telling everybody for years that Russia is a paper tiger. They, the Ukrainian Armed forces, could just march from Kursk to Moscow, and barely anything would stop them. Just remember Wagner's march from Rostov to Moscow. Same thing.

Not really 200. The 90s were great. Then Putin (FSB) came to power. Then Kadyrov & Dugin joined him and effectively took over. 2007 was a turning point as this gang stole the largest oil company in Russia (Yukos, you can google it) from a millionaire. Unlimited funding basically.

Depends on how American elections go. If they'll put Trump in office then no, they won't need a mobilization. Trump will hand Ukraine over to them on a plate. But if they fail, then yes, larger mobilization effort would be inevitable. Unless they use nukes OR pull out of Ukraine.

You're overcomplicating things. Russia simply lost to Chechnya during the Chechen wars. There's been far-reaching consequences to it, reshaping the government, politics, culture, etc. Chechens simply took control. I recommend you to read about Dugin-Kadyrov relations too.
