@CarterRoutes I wonder why there’s been almost no talk on planning in wales so far by welsh labour. Seems odd given the emphasis placed on the issue by Westminster, and the fact planning is arguably worse here (or at least stricter).

@David_J_Ellis1 I would recommend watching the committee meeting, a pretty insane watch. Some councillors explicitly stating they knew the development was within the rules but had to do the "right" thing. Planning officers visibly furious throughout.

@PCOwen_a @TegidRoberts @GutoOwenH2 Think there's a big solar farm (in the early stages) in Ynys Môn which is also for the UK gov to decide, and I find it hard to believe they'll reject it.

@matthewhodg Definitely, the disparity is insane. I will admit though, moving away for cities, the amount of rural public transport in the UK is somehow better than countries like france and Spain, despite still being shit. Germany seems to be better though, with the huge rail network.

@inthelouvvre Deffo the best option in Wales atm, unless your in a super marginal seat but theres barely any in Wales now anyway.

@JeremyBrookman2 Id say so, its only a +1 increase if you account for the now independent mp who was elected for caerfyrddin, but gaining ynys mon would still be a decent success. I wonder what the vote will look like in the new aberconwy constituency, maybe a place PC should/will target.
