@JungleSilicon @chrypnotoad This is all really cool. Color theory and palette composition is a cool blend of art and science. What specific use cases do you have in mind for this ? I'm thinking of making themes for UI's based on images? (PS I'm a beginner at everything visual 😆)

Tech twitter: pretty tame cause humans invented and understand tech Fitness twitter: mostly well understood subject, few conflicts due to doing it by feel vs limited studies and confirmation bias Nutrition twitter: batshit crazy wild West where no one agrees on anything

@Mqsley @ifixhearts Agreed. Once you reach your daily requirement, the satiating effects become similar to other foods. But he is probably addressing people who eat nowhere near enough, so they don't need that nuance.

@kellabyte I have a Logitech GPro (direct drive) wheel, with decent pedals and a NLR rig. I personally seem to enjoy more working on my driving technique rather than racing online. I've tried it, but I'm not that competitive and feel that I don't have the fundamental driving down yet.

@kellabyte I'm not super familiar with racing rules and iRacing, but I do share in the enjoyment of virtual driving (in my case I play GT7 in PSVR). It's been a rewarding experience improving my driving technique :)

Been using for a while. Now specifically their windsurf editor. It is quite awesome. Supports editing across many files, custom context, chatting about code, running terminal commands etc. Definitely speeds up development significantly (for me)

@JungleSilicon Right... I keep forgetting how many disparate ideas get lumped together under the 1 umbrella term. Any time somebody talks about "local first" I need a whole checklist to remember what it means.

@JungleSilicon So what did you move away from then, exactly? Seems like you still implement local first, fundamentally

1) asked AI to build a feature 2) feature works but code looks a bit ugly 3) I clean up the code 4) feature doesn't work anymore. I broke it 5) asked AI to fix it 6) AI fixed it. Feature works again. Yikes. Starting to feel a bit redundant 😬

@adamhjk @b0neskull Exactly! The context is what matters. That's what the whole thread is about. The "context" needs to come a lot more to the forefront in conversations. Most people get stuck trying to pin down the term as if there is no context.
