I’m so so grateful for all of my trauma I have experienced in my life. They are amongst the greatest gifts I have ever received from Creator, God and I would never in a million years give them up.
Why be grateful for trauma? Because it gave me an abundance of shadows to work on
When people say “we don’t need to worry about the past just refocus to the future & think about something happy..you don’t need shadow work to get there.”...this approach is as good as just turning a blind eye and thinking you can will away the healing that is calling you to heal

There are no external solutions. For instance, you can't be healed by someone else. People can guide you on your shadow work journey but you have to be willing and open to do the work yourself.

It does feel sad. I never really understood why I clung to rightly to the trauma. I worked from so many different angles to let go. Ceremonies. Therapy. Visualizing. Ect. It wasn’t until I realized that I found some sort of comfort in it. That I WAS the one clinging. Not it.
