I’m flying over 80 hrs next month with 16 days off. The flexibility, freedom and benefits i have at my job is unbeatable. I would N E V E R work a 9-5 ever again just to be at a desk most of the time with 8 days off a month. Never everrrr.
People who work five days a week; if you could, would you take a pay cut and work 3/4 days a week instead?

The airlines (meaning all of them) got a bailout... not just AA. The employees have not gotten any extra money, the bailout only guaranteed payroll until end of September. Nobody was laid off yet, however it is likely going to happen in October.

Flight attendant here! They can definitely ask to switch, but most ppl will say no and that’s okay. You get the seat you pay for. If you don’t select a seat, you will be assigned one randomly. Why should ppl be expected to give up their seat? The parents know this ahead of time.

I studied nursing in college because I wanted to be a full time travel nurse. After working in a hospital I realized how miserable I was and regretted it. After I graduated college at 22 I became a flight attendant and I’m still here and flying six years later ✈️❤️
