On a silver lining, this trade war might actually be good politically for the liberal party/Trudeau, and might improve their polling. People tend to prefer stability in governance in times of crisis, and Trudeau seems to be handling this well (so far).

My greatest worry about this is the level of inflation in both countries. Even if the tariffs are cancelled, the damage would have already been done.

@LoveSarae I shop at Lidl, and never had any major issues with veg (they last at least a week) . Would advise to put it straight in the fridge once you get home, and it's usually fine.
