As the 33rd Dáil enters its final months, political parties will be focused on policy development in preparation for progressing manifestos.

I’m terrified for the men and women currently in our overcrowded prisons. It’s a terrifying enough situation when you have your own home, freedom and agency to comfortably isolate for medical reasons, it’s another level when you have none of these

My great aunt Kitty is 100 today. She’s lived through the War of Independence, Civil War, the creation of the 1937 Constitution, Ireland joining the UN & EU, the Troubles, the election of 1st female President, equal marriage, Repeal the 8th and now, a global pandemic. Legend 😁

are in Strasbourg today with Louise O’Keeffe who has been a tireless campaigner on this issue, seeking Permanent Reps of the Council of Europe to impose enhanced supervision on the Government to ensure it offers an appropriate redress scheme to abuse victims.
25 years after first suing the State for failing to protect schoolchildren from sexual abuse, Louise O'Keeffe is still fighting for others who have been excluded from the inadequate redress schemes set up in response to the ECtHR judgment in her case.
