@FarisHammadi Protesting and 'Attacking' Muslim rulers (verbally) shouldn't be discouraged, as long as it is done for a just cause. سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم يَقُولُ " مَنْ رَأَى مِنْكُمْ مُنْكَرًا فَلْيُغَيِّرْهُ بِيَدِهِ فَإِنْ لَمْ يَسْتَطِعْ فَبِلِسَانِهِ فَإِنْ لَمْ

@acetthetics This is why we shouldn't treat these types of people as role models and inspirations. As recent reverts, they've got the benefit of the doubt, so I'm not judging their sincerity. But we've only got one example and role model that we should follow: لَّقَدْ كَانَ لَكُمْ فِى

@Iwanatakemylife @Afaggaal Correct - but it's worth noting that Allah (swt) uses the Arabic present/future tense in this verse: يَهْدِى So 'to guide' would become 'He guides'. Meaning that this still applies to today and the future. Other verses of the Qur'an also corroborate this: فَمَن يُرِدِ ٱللَّهُ

@elonmusk Great, I look forward to how America rebuilds Iraq, Afghanistan, Syria, Yemen, Libya etc... And also how it releases Pakistan from bondage, since the country is pretty much a slave to the US and its interests. And how it allows Iran to economically function by lifting

@Alhaqqan90 @FarisHammadi I'd agree somewhat. Muslims in the West should try their best to do Hijra if possible. And considering the current sentiments, although Coke isn't haram, I do believe it would've been more considerate to not have ordered it. I believe in boycotting, but if @FarisHammadi

@BahaBlastO5 @FarisHammadi I don't disagree with this Hadith at all. I'm aware of and accept the status of the Prophet (sa), the companions (ra) and the pious predecessors. @AnkicraC @Lebphilosophy I've read it, and it seems like Jesus is feeling forsaken and imploring God to help him. Also, if Jesus is God then why did he forsake himself and then pray to himself to help him?

@badrlol_ The Hijab is a sign of respect for women. Their status in Islam is known: Mother: Paradise lies under her feet Wife: Completes half of your faith Daughter: A key to their father earning paradise

@IKON1436 We'd have direct access to primary texts and read histories, biographies and all types of Islamic texts in the original language of the authors, rather than relying on English translations by orientalist 'Oxford professors of Arabic' (who have a touch of bias).
