Isaiah 58:6-7 “Is not this the fast that I choose: to loose the bonds of wickedness, to undo the straps of the yoke, to let the oppressed go free, and to break every yoke? Is it not to share your bread with the hungry and bring the homeless poor into your house; when you see the naked, to cover him, and not to hide yourself from your own flesh?”

I liked the half time show. Great Choreography. It helped to have my youngest son explain the cultural significance of what Samuel Jackson was saying and the song choice. 👌

@gbunny @johnrich Yea, it’s pretty sad. Just imagine what families go through every day. Have to wait for them to become danger to self/others. Then even after 5150, where do they go? Maybe short term hospitalization if there’s a bed. But it’s usually the streets.

It’s untreated psychosis. My son has severe mental illness, he’s a Christian. When not in treatment he can think all sorts of things, like he’s the king of the world, etc. We are witnessing someone who needs an intervention. They say all sorts of things in this state. We have far to go in education as witnessed by all the comments.

@johnrich Yes, it’s called involuntary treatment. Laura’s Law in California if that’s where he is.
