Penultimate day @Gateshead_NHS. Proud to have had 39 years nursing career, 7 at Gateshead. Iv also had every colour uniform; white, green, blue, navy, burgundy, royal blue and grey. But today I have hung it up for the last time. Thank you to everyone who has been in my journey

We welcome the announcement by @NHSEngland that they’re expanding their #BowelCancer screening programme to those aged 50 in England 👏 Our ambassador, @DrAnishaPatel1, joined the team at @BBC breakfast this morning to discuss why these at-home tests are so important. Bowel cancer is treatable and curable when spotted early. Screening plays a vital role in improving these cancer outcomes. Read more about this announcement:
