@benmcbean Looks like you have a gastric nasal tube in, for feeding & the one with multiple attachments is an artierial line, thatās actually in your neck, for giving meds & taking bloods etc. You and your dad should be extremely proud of both of you āŗļø

@strutinUK Iāve had this asked & my reply was they arenāt, as they did not choose this. They are just accepting the enevitable & have made peace with it, so they can make the most of the time they have leftā¦.

@nursemaiden @WeNurses NHS Community matrons are a band 7 & have a very different role to an acute matron, as they are caseload holders and managed complex pts.Also NHS prison matrons are band 7, but do a mixture of the two roles, but trusts get away with it being a band 7 as itās classed as community

@sophielouisecc Ourselves & having to decide between risking our families or missing them. Iām not saying itās right or was easy for those getting less money, but donāt play them off against usā¦ as we were working hard for our normal pay & we are now working even harder for that same pay!!
