A few days ago CP were unable to consider a 2hr loadshed schedule - today a sharp u turn, but do not care to inform residents, ward cllrs & many of their employees of this - then decide to send out communication hours after the fact - and they wonder why we have no faith in them!

water outage - JWater has informed that the repair has just been completed (06h30) Team is checking welds etc - JWater will start recharging the system - it can take several hrs to refill all of the pipework system & low lying areas will receive water first

water outage - all repairs etc complete & good JWater will now start opening valves to recharge the pipe system - some fire hydrants will be opened to bleed air out of the system (these are not leaks or bursts) - low lying areas will receive water first.

Pikitup (with valued assistance of EMS/Working on Fire/Renico & others) finally have control of the Panorama fire. Compost is being moved to a landfill & now to deal with the other problems on the site & develop a long term plan - I will be monitoring this progress.

after consultation with CP a plan to stabalise supply to Dale Lace & surrounds has been developed (new ring feed & 2 new supply cables) approved by CP planning & submitted for funding approval - if approved it will take some months for tender process etc

The CP - stats long term planning, inability to meet demand, planned maintenance - offers no solution to our nearly daily outages.
I am pushing for the budget to be made available for the planned ring main & cables to take us off the supply via Sundowner as a priority.
