We had similar things at the private college I attended. Many students were expelled for activities that would not have gotten them expelled at a public school. It was a "fine print" thing people didn't realize. They could expel for anything they didn't like. Maddening...

At every single place I learn about more stories of abuse
And still people believe..."it doesn't happen where I live"
Remembering the soft-spoken 81-yr-old man who shook my hand after a book event about

. He told me his son had been sexually abused by a pastor, and years later, his grandson.
His son eventually died by suicide.
