Mark had more to say on the matter than I ran in the story -- he was sympathetic to the ref shortage -- but this is the gist of it. No doubt officiating's not an easy job, but in the moment, the call felt wrong and it felt like it would have an unfortunate impact on the game.
Setting aside the impact to the outcome of the game, we are in 💯 agreement of the double standard that exists for both girls players and women coaches. If no swearing, trash talk, or temper tantrums are allowed it should apply to boys players and male coaches as well.
